We had a great time at the beach. The girls stayed in the pool almost all day everyday. Mallory did not like the ocean She fussed the whole time. Finley got an ear infection, and we had to go to urgent care. We had the best time just relaxing and enjoying each other. The girls did not want to come home. They asked if they could live there. We are home for a few days to work, then off to Washington DC for the UMDF conference. Please pray for us. We are going to meet with our Congressman about support for more money for research. This was a father-daughter dance that Mallory, Anna Kate, Lauren and I attended last weekend. This event was in honor of Tanya Sharpe and benefited the American Cancer Society. Let's just say that we "got our dance on!"

Mallory dances with Miss America-2008

On Saturday, October 4, we traveled to Disney World via Air Tran (courtesy of the Make a Wish Foundation). We arrived at the Give Kids the World Village where we were greeting with open arms. Mallory and the rest of us received the royal treatment. We were showered with gifts, food and many other blessings. The first evening the girls met Miss America-2008 (Mallory got to dance with her) at the 'Pirates and Princesses' event. The village is an incredible place!

Make-aWish Party

As Most of you all know Mallory has Mitochondrial Disease in which there is no cure. The Make-a-Wish Foundaion has granted Mallory a trip to go to Disney World. We are so grateful to this foundation, and one donor gave the whole trip. This past Sunday we had a grant a wish party. Mallory had a blast. At first she did not want anything to do with the fairy but then she came around. I think she had been outside playing and got to hot and was getting dehydrated. After I gave her Gatorade through her tube she came around. We are so thankful to the many family and friends that came. We are scheduled to leave out of atlanta around 8:40 Saturday morning. We are staying at a special resort for Make-a-Wish kids.We are all so excited, and I am sure this will be a trip of a lifetime. We will be spending the whole week in Disney. So pray for our family especially myself that I will be able to get around (since I am 32 weeks pregnant).Just Joking pray especially for Mallory to continue to stay well.

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated. Pam had to show me how,and I have been really busy. Everbody is doing well and loves school. Mallory cannot wait to go to school each day. She loves going to Unity and the teachers and children are so good to her. Lauren and Anna Kate are doing well also. The girls cannot wait until their new baby sister arrives in November.

By the way this is the first day of school.
